Do Not Sell My Information
Our Position
Hideaway Pacific Beach does not sell your personal information for money to third parties.
Under the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (together, “CCPA/CPRA”), “sharing” can also include disclosing personal information to third parties for cross-context behavioral advertising, even when no money changes hands. We do not share your personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. We do not place advertising or marketing cookies on hideawaypb.com, and we do not use tracking technologies to build advertising profiles or to follow you across other websites.
Cookies and Your Choices
This Site uses only the limited cookies and similar technologies needed for it to function and to remember basic preferences. Because we do not place advertising, marketing, or behavioral tracking cookies, there is no advertising consent for you to give or withdraw, and the Site does not display a cookie consent banner.
- Functional (essential) cookies and storage are used by our website platform, security, and caching software so that pages load correctly and securely. These are necessary for the Site to work.
- Preference storage may remember basic settings so the Site behaves consistently as you browse.
You can control or delete cookies at any time through your browser settings. Most browsers let you block all cookies, block third-party cookies only, delete existing cookies, or alert you when a cookie is set. Blocking essential cookies may cause parts of the Site to stop working correctly.
Global Privacy Control (GPC)
We honor Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals. If your browser or device is configured to send a GPC signal when it visits our Site, we will treat that signal as a valid request to opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information for that browser or device. We will also not set non-essential cookies for that session. You do not need to verify your identity to use GPC.
To enable GPC, use a privacy-focused browser or install a GPC browser extension. Learn more at Global Privacy Control.
Submitting an Opt-Out Request Directly
You may also submit an opt-out request to us directly, and we will honor it whether or not you use a GPC signal. Contact us using any of the methods under “How to Submit a Privacy Rights Request” below, with the subject line “Do Not Sell or Share.” You do not need to create an account to submit a request, and we will not require you to verify your identity in order to process an opt-out request.
Your California Privacy Rights
As a California resident, you have the following rights under CCPA/CPRA regardless of whether we sell or share your personal information:
- Right to Know. Request information about the categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected about you, the sources of that information, the business purpose for collecting it, and the categories of third parties with whom we share it.
- Right to Delete. Request deletion of personal information we have collected from you, subject to certain legal exceptions.
- Right to Correct. Request correction of inaccurate personal information we hold about you.
- Right to Opt Out of Sale or Sharing. Opt out of any future sale or sharing of your personal information, should our practices change.
- Right to Limit Use of Sensitive Personal Information. To the extent we use sensitive personal information for purposes that are not strictly necessary to provide the services you request, you have the right to limit that use.
- Right to Non-Discrimination. Exercise any of your privacy rights without receiving discriminatory treatment from us.

Verification and Response
To protect your privacy, we will verify your identity before processing requests to know, delete, or correct your personal information. We may ask you to provide additional information to confirm your identity. Opt-out requests do not require identity verification. We will respond within 45 days. This period may be extended by an additional 45 days when reasonably necessary; if we need more time, we will tell you why.
Authorized Agents
You may designate an authorized agent to submit a privacy rights request on your behalf. The agent must provide signed written permission from you, and we may contact you directly to verify your own identity.
Third-Party Services
Our Site contains links to third-party websites and services, including OpenTable for reservations, DoorDash for delivery and pickup orders, our gift card provider, our separate merchandise store at hideawaypbgear.com, and our social media pages. These are ordinary links: following one takes you to a website we do not operate, and that provider’s own privacy practices then apply. If you want to exercise privacy rights directly with OpenTable, DoorDash, or any other such provider, you must do so on their websites or apps.
If Our Practices Change
If we ever decide to sell or share personal information in ways beyond what is described in our Privacy Policy, we will update our Privacy Policy and this page, and we will provide a clear and conspicuous opt-out mechanism before doing so.
For full details on how we collect, use, and share your personal information, please review our Privacy Policy.
This page was last updated on August 24, 2026. We review and update our privacy practices periodically.
